What would it take for you to WIN your day?
Winning the day can mean a lot of different things to different people.
Yesterday I won the day by ripping weeds out of my garden (they were the size of trees!)
And spending time with my nephew (weed pulling helper)
And also to stretch for 15 minutes, eat healthy, drink lots of water, and finish off the night reading for at least an hour.
Winning the day has a bigger payoff than you think.
By choosing 3 to 5 things every day that are a very high priority for you, and making sure you get them done, you lie down in bed at night with a great sense of accomplishment, and peace.
I slept like a baby last night.
But it’s the accumulated success you get from doing this everyday that is the biggest reward.
When I set the intention each week to spend a few hours in my garden, over time, I’ll have an amazing garden!
By stretching for 15 minutes every day, over time, I’ll have amazing flexibility (and significantly reduce my risk of injury when training).
By eating healthy meals every day, over time, I’ll have amazing health, a lean body, lots of energy, and longevity!
By drinking lots of water each day, over time, I won’t get sick, I’ll have vibrant skin, and overall health and vitality.
So you can see that it’s the small things done repetitively that make the big difference.
And if you set a daily goal to “Win The Day” by ticking off 3-5 tasks, and you are successful at least 4 out of 7 days, guess what! You’ll “Win The Week”.
And if you win at least 3 out of 4 weeks, you’ll “Win The Month”.
And if you win 7+ months of the year, you’ll “Win The Year”.
And let me tell you. If you win the year, you will be in a very different place to where you are today. And you’ll be a very different person to who you are today!
Your health will be VERY different. Your success, your happiness, your wellbeing, your career, relationships…
Everything will be next level.
So how do you do it?
Get out your diary. (if you don’t have a diary, you need to get one, or get an app or something, because you can’t win your life if you’re not keeping score).
In your diary for each day, in a red pen, write in big bold letters “WIN THE DAY”
And put 3 to 5 check boxes under the heading, with the things you need to do to win the day.
As a priority, get those 3 to 5 things checked off!
If you tick off over 50% of your items, you’ve won.
If you’re under 50% then you’ve lost, and will have to do better tomorrow.
Put a big “W” on your page when you’ve won. And try and get as many consecutive W’s in a row as you can.
Guys, this one simple strategy WILL change your life forever!
